I have a friend
at the Yonkers Paddling and Rowing Club that built one - I think his SO is paddling it these days, at least she used it for the Great Hudson River Paddle this year. IF you contact me back channel, I can try to put you in touch with him.

wood boat in TITS3
Jay,
That footage was shot in New Zealand, while I was there teaching with several of the “Green-team” at a symposium. Cheri borrowed the boat you are referring to for a group rolling demo since Freya was using her own kayak. I only know that the wood kayak was referred to as an “SS”. Maybe it was a Sea Spirit, but I don’t know. That said, it was a fairly large kayak for a “rolling kayak”, Cheri did a great job to hit the rolls.
If you contact me back-channel I can get you in touch with the boat’s owner in NZ, if you want additional details.

It’s my wifes
It is a Sea Spirit designed by Bobby Curtis that I built for my wife.
Do a web search as he has a website. You can also see my write up on my website http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/acalvert/SeaSpirit.html
It’s a great rolling kayak, tracks as if on rails and is very stable .
Cheers Tony
