Circular kayak/canoe trip in southern New Jersey?

Hi.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a 1 day circular route (not A to B) for a kayak/canoe trip in southern New Jersey?

You would likely be limited to tidal waters. Lots of options there, but generally not the most canoe friendly.

Decades ago, I kayaked with the Appalachian Mountain Club New York Chapter. One location is the New Jersey Pine Barrens is exactly what you are looking for. Briefly, you launch you kayak or canoe on one side of the parking lot. Paddle the river and return on the other side of the parking lot. Try contacting the club. If they are on FB, maybe they still paddle that river or someone remembers the name.
