Coast Mountain Toba Inlet Expedition

I recently returned from a glorious trip to Toba Inlet led by Coast Mountain Expeditions, just off the coast of B.C.
We chose the Toba Inlet tour for its quiet ambiance and incredibly beautiful scenery.
I’m not going to sugar coat this. The paddling was AMAZING, the scenery was jaw dropping, the pescatarian food was unbelievable and the weather was perfect. However, this tour is not for beginners. Paddling varied between 10-16 miles per day and crossing the channel in wind and tide took some edging. All kayaks were equipped with rudders, but preferring a skeg, I never used it. The hardest part was carrying the kayaks above the tide line for the night, then carrying them back down to the low tide in the morning.
Overall, I find this to be a great company with hearts firmly set in eco touring and I highly recommend it.
