I bought a used cobra Tripple kayak, but when I used it my weight collapsed the front center of the middle seat. I was able to straighten it up a bit but want to bend back down with even a little weight. Any ideas about reinforcing it so it does not continue to bend down and eventually break?
Does it have hatches?
If the kayak has hatches through where you can access the area, you can put some minicell support there. My sit on top kayak has such foam across much of its length, and is very solid because of it.
If no hatches, perhaps that’s an opportunity to install one
