There is a whitewater park on the “Hoochie” that runs through Columbus Georgia. It is billed as the longest whitewater park in the world. Don’t know if I could verify that but it was exciting. Water varies in volume as controlled by the Georgia Power Damns.

If you’re not a WW kayaker visit Whitewater Express and get a seat on one of their rafts. Great fun… Dress for immersion.
note…I survived “Cut Bait” but one of the small ripples threw me and the guide out of the boat.
