Wow 200 posts to your thread congrats.
Most threads are lucky to get 15 replies. Comfortable PFD is something a lot of people are interested in I see.
I still like your Type IV idea. What would be great is a Type IV with a built in holster.

I am not going to listen to someone who doesn’t wear his PFD in the Hot Tub.
Thanks

Plansee, Austria and many others
And this one woman (old but fit) came up to my husband and asked him to take pictures of her doing the cold plunge so she could send her friends in Munich and then she proceeded to strip all her clothes off.
another time he was flying his drone and I had to tell him to be careful because everyone was naked and maybe it was not so cool.
*They don’t care * I sort of admire it but I’m not seeing nudies wearing PFDs and they are way out on SUPs.
I see a lot of people swimming in the icy lake and I didn’t see anybody do the big gasp (although I know it’s real)
They always wear hats though
@MohaveFlyer, I think you’ll find this rather thorough review of the risks and benefits of cold water swimming interesting. The authors (from Switzerland,Poland, Russia, US, Canada and Greece) don’t have an obvious bias. They recognize that cold water swimmers can adapt to the conditions, but risk is always there.
Cold water swimming (winter or ice swimming) has a long tradition in northern countries. Until a few years ago, ice swimming was practiced by very few extreme athletes. For some years now, ice swimming has been held as competitions in ice-cold water...
@MohaveFlyer comes through… You mean there is more?
I was beginning to give up, I thought I alienated you with my silly self defense statements about the Marsh.
Plansee Austria, that is where ya’ll are at now? I guess the lakes are near frigid year round. Polar opposite of the Marsh, crisp, clean, cold and wide open, must be nice. As long as they wear hats, everything is okay. But the Marsh is interesting in its own right, just teeming with life. You are right about one thing though, you don’t go swimming.
Seems as if you have a free mind. Kind of nice.

No, wouldn’t want to take up your day from typing.
Have not been typing much lately, get up to speed, don’t make presumptions,be in the present and quit posting for likes.

Much is in the eyes of the beholder.
That is very true, that is why one must trust his eyes not general sentiment.
