Scored myself a retro pack boat from Bend, Oregon! It seems these were made in Bristol, RI from roughly 2002 to 2007 when they were bought out by Native Watercraft. It is a close replica of a boat Rushton built for a customer in 1880 that’s currently in the Adirondak Museum in NY. Paddles like a dream! Rocket fast, excellent primary stability likely due to the 28" width and rounded hull, rides on top of big crests easily. It is 10’6, and on first weighing it comes in at 25 pounds with the featherweight seat shown. Not sure if it’s the Kevlar/Carbon layup or Fiberglass as that doesn’t line up with the catalog specs.

Pretty boat.
I have one very much like that one. I have not weighed it, but once I get home from a work trip i want to reach out and compare notes with you. Information is scarce on these boats it seems. Thanks for posting and enjoy your new ride!
