Congaree NP

I have some time off and was wanting to paddle Cedar Creek through Congaree National Park. Anybody have any suggestions on put-ins , take-outs , length of trip, ect…ect… Thanks

Go to the link inside, check their maps,
and expect to talk to a ranger over the phone to confirm that the trails are clear of trees.

It is possible to do a day trip, ending where the road and Cedar Creek trail come close to one another. Otherwise you would have to reverse course (perhaps there is a current with high water right now) or go through to the Congaree River to get to a take out. Many campsites may be under water or washed out.
