I met a dog yesterday I had never heard of.
A Griffon. Looks like a bad hair day but a very active , sweet dog, esp if you have food.
His owner was paddling a tandem kayak and the dog had the front seat, at least when he would stay in the boat. Every time he got near shore, he was out of the boat blasting through the shallows.
A great dog for outdoor adventures.
I once had a PBGV. Petit Basset Griffon Verden. Great dog but didn’t like to get wet. I believe the hairstyle is called “tosseled”.
Wife’s uncle had a wire-haired griffon. Yes - a very cool dog.
