Anyone have a good design for a covered canoe rack? My boats have filled up the ceiling of my garage, and now I’ve got one on my front porch too. I’m thinking I need to build a rack for 6 canoes.
Build a boat barn
I built mine a couple of years ago from saw mill lumbrer.
It is now happily filled with six canoes, five sea kayaks, two rec kayaks, one sit on top, two mountain bikes, two road bikes, one ATV, a stack of miscellaneous 15 foot long cherry boards, pine boards, and maple boards, as well as several gear lockers full of paddling stuff, a portage buggy, a power lawn mower, and about seven or eight mouse traps all set trying to get those little SOB’s that chewed through several of our canoe paddle bags.
