I would like to know the name of the color in the picture. May be some one had a CD boat from that era. My Extreme is the same color. I was curious, thanks!

there's purple haze
Urban Dictionary
Purple Haze
'A strong strain of mostly-sativa cannabis. JUST cannabis, NOT laced with anything. Lacing a smokable drug with LSD is IMPOSSIBLE and a bullshit urban legend! It will break down if you try to smoke it!
"Man, that purple haze I bought from Jim was amazing, it got me so fucked up!"
I had the idea PH was the color of Owlsey's acid pellets ....
Really J the town folks will be at your door carrying torches.

That pic is of a Canadian built kayak. When Wenona bought them they didn’t necessarily carry over the same colors.
not a
Puerto Rican or Mexican purple…fascinating the source is Canadian.
Purchase of CD
They have no record of colors or matches in gel-coat before the they purchased Current Designs. It is a color available in 2000.
supplier
were they the supplier for CD? Thanks
sorry
hope your getting the help you need.
Wenonah
... built some of CD's boats, others CD built themselves in Canada. I had a 2000 Canadian boat and I ordered gelcoat from Wenonah years later. It was a color they no longer used but they tried and sent me a small can. It wasn't that close and I ended up mixing my own (it isn't that hard).
You can buy a can of white gelcoat and then get the pigments you need... Just wait until the color matches before you add the hardener...
Even if you could ID the original
Color and get it in a little jar it won’t match
Color does change over the years on the boat and replacement new gel will be off enough to be nauseating
Best to try and mix yourself. That way you can fiddle with the final match better

Don’t need any gel just was wondering color name out of curiosity. Gel is really not faded much at all.
I’ve got painted hulls
And worse as paint dries to a different color than when wet it’s really a matter of trial and error
any other lookers know thanks
I use to have a CD 2000 brochure but can’t find it now.
Just make up a name for the color no one will know the difference.
still bugs me. Found old websites but no color listing.

The top boat is the color of my old Caribou. CD only used it for a few years.
