"Might" need to go towards coast, like the
Long Island or Southern New Jersey area.

Ontario, Canada might also be an option

In 1991, Wenonah Canoe Inc., the leading U.S.
manufacturer of composite canoes,
was selected as the strategic partner to
distribute Current Designs kayaks
in the United States.

Retired model
CD retired the Slipstream years ago. This means that they no longer advertize it in their catalog or website and produce very few of them. You can still special order them from CD dealers.

Lots of options for British style boats
Newer British styles offer much better outfitting, hatches and seat adjustability that the old CD doesn’t.
