Does anyone have any experience in getting a dry top or dry suit customized for a specific fit? I am tall and large though the chest and am looking for something that will work for me. I have tried many different brands and they are all too short or tight. Often it is posted on websites that alterations can be made, but I find that they are typically reluctant to do so.
Any contacts or experiences will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
MDM
have you tried
kokatat? i think they will do that.
Kayakacademy.com
George and Barbara stock a lot of custom Kokatat drysuits, and even have demos of nonstandard fit suits that you can try before you buy. They are very experienced in this area.
Kokatat
…will definitely do that but at this time of year the lead time may be lengthy.
What are the dimensions, height, chest, waist, arm and inseam? Might be other options out there.
See you on the water,

Immersion Research will do it. NM
Stohlquist did my BpodT custom legs
but my suit has serial #00001…(it was probably easier since it was the first one)
you can get ANY drysuit or top out there and send it to a shop like Rainy Pass in Seattle who can do what ever you like to your suit…
