While there may be a āLittle Debbie pieā in your (or mine) future, there is most definitely a big Debby coming your way (perhaps a bit north of us).
I wonāt mind a day or 2 of a vacation from my daily (currently 207 day consecutive paddling days)

So far this summer, Iāve gotten in only two days of paddle surfing on teeny 2ā waves in MassBay. Itās been pretty much āPond Atlanticā conditions. Thinking that Debby may stir things up for us. Looks increasingly like a miss though for New England. Weāll seeā¦

All weekend weāve been watching news wondering where he was. Charleston is in trouble Jim Cantori showed up on the weather channel on the Battery.
She is on the way at 6mph.
We got our first fairly steady rainfall already around 10:30 am this morning in Charleston. I wasnāt expecting rain bands that soon. This could end up quite a rain event. I did just get a nice paddle in this evening. The rain and still light wind and just everythkng felt really peaceful tonight.
What was distinct for us, in this one was the constancy and sheer volume of the rainā¦
We live on high ground, but near a river or creek with any tidal influence, none of it would have been amusing. Keeping the good thought for friends up and down the Carolinas/Outer Banks.
