Spry sounds like a really old person that surprises everyone by being able to find their way to the grocery store.
Don’t know if the Nord LV is spry but it does great figure eights in reverse.

Thank you all for sharing your opinions with me…I truly appreciate it. I must admit, some of this stuff when way over my head.
I just paddled again this weekend and I am leaning more towards the Avocet LV but I really like both kayaks a lot (wish I could own both). I was in the ocean today and it had a bit of chop and I noticed my boat was bouncing around more and my husband’s seemed to slice through it. When I returned to the harbor, I noticed it was fast and held straight. I also noticed that the Q10 is roomier and I don’t have as much contact with the boat as well as I seem to sit higher in the water.
Your comments were useful to me as I thought about what you mentioned as I kayaked.
