rstevens, that may be but I didn’t think to ask the retailer to order me a replacement. I just checked their website and saw they didn’t have the size/color I wanted.
I reached out to Trask at Kokatat as suggested above by 3meterswell. He has responded in a positive way. I’ll update this thread when I know more. Thank you all again for your input!
Thought I’d give an update. This situation is stalled as I haven’t received any further communication from Kokatat since Monday.
After I received their email on Monday 3/8, I responded with the information they requested in less than 2 hours. I have received no reply.
I sent another response on 3/10 asking for an update. I have received no reply.
I sent another response this morning (3/12) asking for an update. I have not received a reply yet.

This went on for a bit, but Kokatat replaced the PFD under warranty with a new Neptune, which arrived today. Thank you all for the info. I’ll try to give my impressions on the Neptune after some paddle time. Cheers!
