Left my Epic V7 rm on the roof rack in the recent heat wave. Not pretty. The V7 suffered the dreaded droopy ends. Talk about a reverse rocker…
Took the V7 off the rack, flipped it upside down on the lawn, and let it bake in the sun for a day. Almost as good as new.
Jerry rigged a support beam across and beyond the saddles with a 5’ of a steel strut used for wall shelving. Added 1.5’ of pool noodle over the ends of the strut to “soften” the edges and to provide a wider support bases. Seemed to have worked for today’s 85 degree heat.
Have to remember about this downside to long rm boats!
