Elbow tendinitis
Seems like everybody has pretty good advice with all the replies.
. loose grip on paddle shaft
. arm braces (velcro straps)
. paddle stroke (ergonomics)
. anti-inflamatories (Motrin)
. etc. - etc.
*But a couple of things that were not mentioned, was stretching before going out paddling, (hand wrist stretches) and getting massage done on a regular basis if problem starts to be cronic.(deep work into muscle & tendons) of the forearms and elbow.
I am a Holistic Health Practioner(HHP) & Licensed Massage Therapist and deal with this type of problem alot.

Mine feels much better since I switched to a wing, I attribute it, not to the wing, but to the better form and rotation that the wing forces you into… GH
