Has anyone launched from Elk River Canoes near Fayetteville, TN and paddled the Elk River? We were thinking about paddling and camping there next weekend. Is it a nice trip?

Its a beautiful paddle. Lot of flatwater, some class I. I really like the runs that start up by the dam, but they’re all good. Very cold water.
