Puerto Ricans probably aren’t too giddy about it right about now and possibly Bermudans either in a couple days.
Looks like swells are beginning to show a little bit on RI and south facing coast of MA. MassBay wont get swells until Sunday. Prime surf will be on Monday (love retirement!).
Until then, just enjoying some camping/fishing and flatwater love with my Hornbeck!

Which Hornbeck do you have, @sing ?
I very much like their New Trick line and would probably have one if I still lived in the ADKS.
Good to see you here Sing, hope you are recovering enough to get some waves when available.
Where is the picture Sing?
Have the New Trick 12. If I were to have a do-over, i might go with a 14 to have more leeway for canoe camping. The 12 is a fun and fast boat for pond/lake fishing.

Yeah, still working on full recovery and more. Have added kettlebelling to the routines. Seems to help not only with strength but muscle endurance.
Have gotten in a couple of teeny wave sessions. Think Ernesto swells will give a better idea where I am at with my surfing capabilities.

East side campground on Lake Dennison, MA. Wow… it came down in buckets with a light and sound show right after that photo!

Ernesto swells starting to show in MassBay - 2.6’ @14 seconds. Looking forward to bigger for tomorrow’s dawn patrol.
Cowabunga!

Have fun up there.
Being on the east coast (FL), I don’t pay much attention to the west coast (and further west).
Is this typical for the pacific, is there anyone here from Hawaii and do they keep their eyes on this stuff:
