You can use Blinker Fluid, it’s cheaper
Mod’s list
Thanks for the ideas. My winter projects are coming together:
- Add flux capacitor (can I get my SOT up to 88MPH? Nitrous might get me there)
- Change Nitrogen every 3000 strokes (See if oil change place will do this for $30)
- Replace drain plug with valve stem
- Add Nitrogen sensor with audible “low N” alarm
- Look into alternatives (Synthetic Nitrogen, Helium, Beer, Blinker Fluid, etc. – are these environmentally friendly?)
- Change Nitrogen in paddle shaft and PFD
- Teach kayak not to giggle (could be embarrassing in certain situations)
- Pressurize hull to maybe 40 PSI or so
- Try helium to see if it “floats my boat”
- Take burritos with me as a “backup” for generating “natural gas”
- Avoid insensitive jokes about filling kayak with dead cats
That should keep me busy for a few weeks. Think I’ll go eat a burrito to take some measurements.
