LV was great 99% of the time…
It was that 1% when I was way over my head. That was disconcerting enough for me to sell it…
It still scares me sometimes…
My post was in great part self-deprecating joke. In Maine this summer there were a couple of times that I was afraid to stop paddling in the Nordlow and a few outings during which most strokes were also braces. I was glad that I had also brought my Romany as a relaxing break from the Nordkapp 
I’m fortunate in that besides the Nordkapp LV I’ve got the Romany, Aquanaut, and Elaho DS. I’m not yet a confident enough paddler to have the Nordkapp LV as my only boat.
