Have not gotten into a boat since September due to other obligations. Just got out of the basement from the annual gear hunt. Which used to happen in late February but l must be getting old. I have not been able to manage my volunteer stuff and prep for paddling.
Found everything eventually that has to go into the main two bags or the boat for Maine. But the last and most precious item shows my age. The Kokatat branded bladder for the water pocket that fits on the back of my Kokatat PFD.
It did show up under a piece of dry wear, later on. But seemingly such a minor thing matters because to my knowledge no one has made one that fits that PFD pack as well. The dry wear is another story, I joined Kokatat’s Gold Club to have any hope of getting that done timely. Been too busy to look well at most of my kayaking stuff.
