I’ll be visiting the Florida Keys for the first week of May. Looking for advice on good places to paddle and also to camp. We’ll be flying there and will have to rent boats - so good outfitter recommendations would be appreciated too.
I did just get Bill Keogh’s book, so I’m making my way through that right now.
Bahia Honda State Park
Check out Bahia Honda State Prk. It is between Marathon and Big Pine. I think you can rent kayaks there and camp there-if there is space available. Nice locaation for snorkeling and fishing too.

Dry Tortugas National Park
This is a unique camping experience reached by a 70 mile ferry trip.
Search DRY TORTUGAS NATIONAL PARK or FORT JEFFERSON.

I’ll second the recommendation.
The trip out (and especially if you rent kayaks and camping gear for use out there) will sound kinda spendy, but the experience is hard to get at any price.
