Florida vessel title questions

Evening,

Have a jon boat that’s my brothers, Have title in his name, he is usually busy throughout week at work so asked me if I can take title to dmv on his behalf so we can to fishing. is it possible for me to take said title to DMV and re newell or register for up to date sticker year. Boat has proper valid hull #s as required just expired sticker registration. Could not find this info on dmv website and very difficult to get ahold of people there in person.

Here in SC the DNR is where boats are titled and registered not DMV. I don’t know about FL. You might want to check with them.

Registration, stickers, fees … yup no big government issues in Florida

In Florida it is the DMV

I don’t think you’ll have an issue if it’s just a renewal.
