Flotation in a Mad River independence

Does the Mar River Independence have a foam flotation core in floor.

I believe the kevlar version has one, but it’s not for flotation, it’s for stiffening the hull. My Indy is FG and does not have the foam in the floor.

In fact, my FG Indy does not appear to have gel coat. Looks like the epoxy is colored. It is maroon outside and inside. Anyone know what layup it is?
