My Folbot Greenland II is 22 years old. Most of my kayaking is done in the ocean. Except for the fading of the red fabric to grey pink the boat is in good working order. How long do these boats last?

My friend Jack in Idaho had one that was 30 plus years old that he took to Alaska every Summer. As long as they are cared for and stored well they last a long time. The skin may eventually start to get brittle. You might want to seek advice on the www.foldingkayaks.org forums - there are apt to be more Folbot owners there.
