Garmon Mill Rd exit

We went paddling this weekend, 4/9/2017, and decided to get out of Rocky River at that point. We were met by a Cabarrus County Sheriff who advised us that this was considered “private land” and the woman who owns has posted no trespassing signs, in the form of purple paint. Do not use this as an out. She calls the police 10 times per day on every car she sees there. We did not get a ticket, luckily.

I have no clue as to what state this is in, presuming it is even in the US.

In NYS no trespassing signs much contain full contact information or they have no legal significance. They have to be spaced properly and meet a few other qualifications. Purple paint would have no meaning.

I realize you Southeners think differently…

I looked up the Carrabus County Sheriff. NC. Was curious and pulled up Google maps to see where Garmon Mill Road crosses the Rocky River. 35.221236, -80.487103 Looks like an elevated bridge so that’s probably not accurate
