I’ve paddled a 16-ft. polyethelene Perception Eclipse for 2 summers now - I have the normal scratches along the bottom from shore launches and landings. What is the proper technique for taking care of these scratches?? None of them are really deep - mostly just cosmetic. I just want to maintain the boat as well as I can.

Forget about them
Use 303 on occasion, paddle.
Or not
If the fuzzies REALLY bother you, they can be touched up with a sharp cabinet scraper.

they all will come back any way so leave em. Occasional 303 on the boat and call it good.
