Hello all. Brother is looking for a very simple hand held gps unit that he can program fast to get the kids into geo caching. The girls are 4 and 7 so a no frills unit that will allow him to get out and have fun witht the least amount of stress. I have a few units but I fear they are high tech for the kids.

There’s no “bad” choice
I’m not sure about some models for ease of use for the kids, but any lower end gps will work fine for geocaching. I have the regular yellow garmin and it’s easy enough to use, although you may have to type in their coordinates for them.
Garmin Geko 201
The Garmin Geko 201 A basic, durable unit that is probably the easiest of all to use and it fits great in small hands. Pretty cheap too. If you shop around you can find it for under $100.
A downside is the serial PC connection, but I’ve seen an after market USB cable for it on Ebay for about $15.
