I found out the hard way. Went on an all-day paddle with a thermos full of steaming hot prune juice, 3 prune sandwiches and a bag of trail mix that was 95% prunes.
It was a bad day.

I love bananas but have never successfully kept one from turning brown and mushy while paddling. Apples and oranges are easy to carry. Juice even easier. : ) But bananas … Help?
