GPS mount for canoe

I have a handheld GPS unit I’d like to somehow mount on my canoe, either using a RAM mount or any other commercial or home made mount. I’ve performed a search, but was not able to find any threads on the subject. Any ideas? Or any threads you can point me to? Thank you.

try a search
on the manufacturer’s web site for bicycle (handle bar) holder.

Pretty easy to use those on a thwart…

I’m sure there are others too. Or you could get one of the cheap dash mount cell holders at Wal-Mart and use it.
