As a boat-building beginner, I decided to purchase the DVD’s sold by Newfound Woodworks, ‘Applying Epoxy & Fiberglass’, and ‘Cedar Strip Boat Building’. These are GREAT teaching DVD’s, and in addition you get to see some beautiful kayaks and canoes built by Michael and his staff. I feel like I am in his workshop when watching the DVD’s.

Just put on an interior hull seal coat of epoxy this a.m. Yup…am REALLY hooked. Who else would look at the warm tone after the epoxy and be in awe…wow! I am a visual learner, and Michael’s DVD was absolutley incredible in providing the direction (and confidence boost) I needed. Highly recommended for those interested in building a strip or stitch & glue kayak…
