Can someone tell me more about these paddles?
Are they suitable for a complete novice? Are they suitable with a boat like the impex Assateague?

I have a friend who paddles an Assateague with a GP and loves both.
Assateague is a big boat
That said, I use one with a QCC-500, which has, I believe, and even greater depth and a peaked foredeck.
I love mine (Mitchell Horizon, 90" I believe).
