gulf shores al

the kids are out of school a week in Oct. and we were planing on taking them down to the beach.The in-laws are coming down also for a few days to see the kids.What I would like to find out is one good trip me and my father in law can take one day and some short morning trips I can do that is real close by.I will be taking two sea kayaks and love a point A to B trip far my fater in-law (any outfitters for a shuttle?). since this is a family vacation I will be paddling real close by far a few hours in the morning. thanks for any suggestions.

if you were to say exactly where you would be staying–I’m assuming its the Gulf of Mexico and also that it’s the Alabama Shore–maybe the specific beach/town/area would be helpful for those who have some knowledge about where to go down there.

I can’t help you with kayaking but was just there and loved it. Really liked the undeveloped beach there - state run I believe. Across the bay, Dauphin Island was gorgeous as well.

I’ve been to Gulf Shores a lot, but never kayaked there. Did some google searching and found these sites. Something for you to check out.
