I’m about to mount some racks on the wife’s 2016 Highlander. They are elliptical aero bars about 1.25" x 2.75". What kind of gunwale stops (aka load stops) are available for such bars?

Yakima’s Keel Over gunwale stops might work. When my car got totaled last summer, I had to get an entire new rack system for my new car; Air Stream cross bars (very quiet) ad Keel Over gunwale stops. Pricey, but worth every penny.
