Does anyone have the directions that go with the older Happy Hooker Canoe & Kayak Hoist?
I have a set of two and would like to send them to my nephew (he lives out of state) and need the directions on how to set them up.

... it looks like a piece of cake to set the thing up. The brackets that attach to the ceiling have pretty simple strap-routing that's shown clearly enough in one of the photos, and if it's a 3:1 mechanical advantage as described, that means the strap "dead-ends" onto the lower hook assembly, wraps up over a pin in the ceiling bracket, comes back down around a pin in the lower assembly, goes back up around a second pin on the upper cleat, and from there to the free end that you pull on. The buckles for the wrap-around straps should be pretty generic, and installation of the "control strap" is illustrated in the video.
