Has anyone used a Harmony Pedal pump? You can pick the things up pretty cheap. To me to tubing looks to small of dia to empty the cockpit of a swamped boat very quickly but looks can be deceiving.
I tried one years ago
Found the flow rate totally inadequate and took it out again.
Battery powered pump
West Marine has one. It is not extremely compact, but it will go thru most hatches. It does a pretty decent job of emptying out a cockpit, obviously is submersible.
I first looked into foot pumps
Foot pumps are just to darn slow to pump out a kayak. I looked at many different ones. P&H has an optional foot pump I think Valley also offers one. There all to slow. Electric is the best way to go. Heres my setup.
