Harrisburg Pa. paddlers....HELP,,Q. 4 U

Due to work, I’ve been stuck in H’burg 4 two weeks without a boat. BUMMER 'cause it looks like alot of fun, upstream.

What’s the story about the statue in the middle of the river ???

Also is there any paddling to be had around Reading ?that’s where I’m heded next.

The Statue of Liberty
That is a replica of the Statue of Liberty that was first put on the bridge pier 25 or so years ago.

Paddling in moving water anywhere in PA is pretty much rain dependent right now. The Susquehanna is very low but it appears that a lump of water will be passing Harrisburg in few days, the result of heavy rains 150 miles upriver.
