Fishing in Baja
Do a google search for Jim Sammons. He is an IGFA certified kayak fishing guide from Cali. who organizes trips to Baja. Tell him Chrystal referred you.



It’s big game sport fishing…billfish, tuna, dorado, others and it’s all just yards off the beach in perfectly calm water.



I have seen Jim’s DVD’s from Baja and they are simply amazing.

I second Chrystal’s suggestion
to contact Jim Sammons. He runs some trips to Punta Colorado on the East Cape. The fishing there is fabulous and as Chrystal stated very near shore. Dorado, Tuna, Sailfish, Striped Marlin offshore and Pargo (snapper) and Roosterfish inshore. It would be a dream trip for most yak fishermen.

I have spent 6months in Baja over 2 trips - kayaking & fishing. I would recomend the book "Baja Catch" by Kelly & Kira.

It has loads of good information that will put you on the right track for asuccessful Baja trip.
