I have several cracks in the vertical section of a large oval Kajak Sport hatch that cause ingress from waves, edging and rolling.
Short of total remove and replace, any effective methods to seal cracks and provide sufficient strength to keep them from opening back up?
All are straight and go from upper lip to horizontal section.

sorry but cracked PVC is something that just needs replaced. I’ve tried some glues and sealants and such…but…replacement is the only bomber fix.

Is the rim screwed in place?
If so, I’ll bet the cracks are at the screw locations. If so, DO NOT use screws when you install the new hatch rims. Bonding it in place is sufficient. Just clamp it well while the sealant is curing.
