how much did you spend on your mountain bike? probbally much more then 250!!! The point is you do get what you pay for. Buy used, or get a second job or something cause 250 wont get you much unless you are very very lucky. i sold my nearly 24 year old Mohawk canoe for more then that, and it was beat to heck.

For someone looking for a 9-10' kayak, dick's sporting goods is heaven. My local dicks has a very bontyfull collection of both Otters and Blasts, not to mention other little look-a-likes such as Pamlico 100, Old Town rush, Perception Swifty/sparky, all for under 300. Trust me, they have alot more 9-10 footers than most specialty stores.
