I just bought a used Heritage Redfish 12 and I noticed there are two holes in the rear storage area. They look like scrubbers should go in them, but there are no scrubbers. The holes are a bit oblong, not totally round, so the regular scrubbers in the rest of the kayak don’t fit. Any help would be very appreciated.
That area is called a tank well. SOT typically do not come with scupper plugs for that area since it is intended for items for which being wet isn’t an issue( scuba tanks , tackle boxes, …).
You can make plugs from a thick , fairly rigid foam or find a ball you can compress to fit.
