I have a hobie Mirage about 10 years old with the seat that screws in. I always get soaked, even with an extra pad in it. Any suggestions? Hobie can’t help me out and said I should replace the kayak.

Welcome to the neighborhood. I’ve never pedaled a Hobie Mirage, but based on the reviews here at Pcom, it seems to be a wet ride. One reviewer said he covers the scupper hole under the seat with tape.
