I’m not likin’
that this kinda of lichen
ain’t a lichen I’m a hikin’ on a stone,
nor a here on dogwood bark
but my immune flair-up quark,
purple spottin’ my skin rotten itch I moan.
(Eight hundred milligrams of Vitamin I atone!)
Steriods knock it down. Not the bulk up kind of steroids…or the mood swing type. …or the tiny “parts” kind. But hot summer water causes the lichen to flare up. Cream isn’t covered by insurance, $$$. Not much fun as y’all said.
