used to just keep an etrex
under the bungies but in my quest to ‘clear the deck’ i switched watches and now paddle with a suunto x9i, so the GPS is now on my wrist. Tried the Foretrex and liked it but it wasnt comfortable on my wrist especially when stroking…

And others. Was thinking about making something up for mine and these will work great. Should be able to combine the two and be happy ever after, or reasonably so.

Bag it
Don’t take chances with exspensive electronic equiptment. Read the waterproof specifications none are really waterproof. I use a bag and foam block attached to deck.
