I’ve failed somehow
I think I’ve said this before, but I have no problem at all with big box “pond” kayaks, they work for their intended use.
But maybe you’re right: maybe a person curious about paddling as a long-term interest will naturally be more thorough in determining what they need to acheive that. I just seem to see a lot of disappointed big box kayak buyers in these forums.
