I will be visiting Mt. Pleasant SC over next weakend and need advice on when, for what, what with and how to fish the many tidal creeks in that area. Also if there are bait & tackle shops that could be recomended.
My fishing experience so far has been bass fishing in central FL from my 16’ Mad River.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I suggest Light tackle and either
flat tailed jigs in chartreuse or electric chicken colors, or mud minnows. Go on the outgoing tide, and look for oysters along creeks, then simple cast close to the oysters and catch redfish and seatrout.
