How to fix this canoe?

Hello paddlers, I have a HollyCow canoe showing a lot of “pockmarks” on the outside.

I’m not sure what can cause this kind of problem and how to fix it.

Any advice?

It appears to be voids trapped in gelcoat. Have you contacted Holy Cow?

That looks bad and really old. I am guessing this canoe was poorly constructed.

I bought it second-hand and was told that it was a factory second without a warranty. It was alright for a few years before showing signs of voids. So far it’s not taking in water but I’m always worried. I just keep a small roll of water tape with me just in case. Is there any way to repair it properly?

I’ve emailed Holy Cow for repair but they haven’t responsed.
