My house faces east, so this was my sunrise 10/20 - before the rain moved in. My first October paddle was late afternoon 10/28 - it’s rained just about every day in October and the few days w/o rain were devoted to moving/stacking firewood and leaf cleanup. Simply horrible as I paddled about 70 miles in October 2017. Firewood stacked and most of the leaves are cleaned up, so hoping to get some miles in on Saturday.

Captured this image of a husband & wife, and co-instructor during a sunset guided tour given earlier this past summer.

I haven’t seen them in years. Good people.
That sounds like the name of a huki puki drink. Insert miniature plastic paddle as a stirrer. With fish-shaped ice cubes.
Sunrises, the other side of the coin, all on the north shore of Lake Huron.
Looking straight north from Glen Cove, Drummond Island MI last year.
Same morning, heading north on glass in before the afternoon’s gale.
Fox Island, North Channel.
Ten minutes later.
Great Canadian Smokeout sunrise, McGregor Bay this summer.
And another in Baie Fine.
Wind turbines from The Bustards.
